Commission for :iconmoppypuppy:

Twily had persevered through her accelerated training routine, her magic was now up to par with Celestia's standards and things were starting to calm down, but after all of that hardship Twily still didn't know why all of this was happening.

Twilight was able to go back to school with the other fillies, but all was not well.
After a particularly terrible day with her peers at school, Twily was ostracized by her classmates jealous of Twily's advanced magic, labeled as a show-off and a teachers pet for being the sole pony privileged to spend all her time with Celestia. One even having the gall to claim that Twily had it easier with the Princess. This would make Twilight very apprehensive about flaunting her magic in the future.

Twi came to Celestia a mess from all the things some of her classmates threw at her. This made Twi late for a training session the Princess and she was given a harsh and rapid bath to make up for lost time. It was at that point Twily decided she had enough and used her new found intellect to question the Princess as to why this was only happening to her.

Surprisingly, Celestia didn't get angry over Twilight's aggressive tone. She just smiled, Celestia still couldn't simply spell out what Twilight was expected to do, but Twily would soon get an answer.

>INB4 this gets critiqued <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/o/o…" width="15" height="15" alt=":ohnoes:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="555" title="Oh Noes!"/>

I must say, I just got done looking over some of your other works, at least two of which were saddening and borderline-depressive works between these two, so seeing something adorable is quite the turn-around medication <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/x…" width="15" height="15" alt=":XD:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="93" title="XD"/>

Celestia being the patient but playful-when-appropriate second-mother figure for Twilight is an old fandom theme now, but it's always going to be a golden one. I think this is a perfect scene that depicts the two of them on an average evening, after lessons <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/g/g…" width="17" height="15" alt=":giggle:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="100" title="Giggle"/>

Also, a word of advice on file formats, always use PNG as your image extension, never use JPG, especially when it comes to artwork <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/> JPG's are lower quality and cause pixelation, which can take away an artworks' crispness and thus overall appeal. I haven't looked at each and every single piece in your gallery, but this work here is a JPG, and with your style of lighting, pixels are actually pretty visible in some areas <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/m/m…" width="15" height="15" alt=":meow:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="578" title="Meow :3"/> Just something to keep in mind for your future works!

Keep it up as always, and I now proudly add myself to your watch list, that I should have been on a long time ago <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
