'I don't want to leave my friends' by Neko-me 'I don't want to leave my friends' by Neko-me
It seems I was able to finish it before the episode. The reason I wanted to finish it is I'm sure obvious. This is how I felt at first when it became sure Twilight becomes an allicorn. I hope you like it.

Edit: Oh my I can't believe I forgot it. I used this set of brush for the rain: [link]. Me and my memory. :(

Thanx for the favs and comments!

Putting aside what fans have been enraged over and personal feelings on the matter (albeit more optimistic), you get the point across, and it's a solid point. Everything solidifies depression here; the dreary background, the lighting and the "it could be a tear or the rain" streaming down her face. I forgot to mention her mane, it looks fantastic, very realistic and doesn't deter from the image as a whole. I could go on about it to the point where you'd re-upload a new version where she's bald.

Perhaps it's me, but I'm enjoying her fur, as it's more rubbery looking like skin then actual fur, it just looks weird on the original design (few exceptions around the hooves and tail). The crown is also very realistic looking, it's odd how a combination of the more realistic aesthetics mixed while staying true to the show works, but you pulled it off.

I have to echo the sentiments of the other person and their critique, with it being best to put aside personal “fan driven, opinionated” ideas that surround Twilight’s ascension and what transpired in the season finale to really grasp this image in a better light.

This piece holds significant interest as it shows our studious pony in her ascended form, taking her place as “Princess Twilight Sparkle” in the world of Equestria. When I look at the image, it does give that sense of desolation where consequence exists in what may seem like an otherwise happy situation. I would equate it to that “specially gifted” child who excels at what they do, and the fear they hold when their family tells them they must leave their current life behind to achieve even greater heights.

The tears shimmer quite nicely in the rain, and the lightening helps to highlight the little pony’s despair as she seems to rage against the storm, demanding the world of Equestria answer her questions. We can also see Twilight’s emotions intermingle with the storm, becoming one, as she feels the turmoil inside of her with the new princess, in her vain attempt, trying to comprehend the situation; however, it seems the distraught mare can’t grasp things despite her well developed capacity at comprehending difficult situations.

Overall, the piece is well done with the rain being just right as the effect flows off the pony’s mane; the shimmer effect helps to benefit the image instead of detracting from it. It’s Twilight’s overall expression that helps to tie it all together, with the studious pony’s crown sitting upon a troubled brow.

Love the rain pattering against her coat, and of course the very awesome light/shadow play.. :( poor Twilight...   Huh.. interesting..  Yeah, the coming of Twilight to be a Princess did feel like 'the right path to choose.'  I felt like it came about rather too soon, not episode wise just more season wise.  But, who am I to write for the show, heh.. I still got a bit warm and fuzzy, and the Nicole Oliver song was just stellar for the 'transformation' scene.. Danial Ingram is such a master for composing and writing music.   Very incredible art once again. ^_^

Thanx and I yeah it was pretty much emotional, I mean the whole episode. A lot of people think it was rushed (which is true), but there were so many emotions going on ... Especially the transformation scene and song.

Agreed, although I tend to find a lot of the episodes are rushed.. But then again, at the end of the day, it's techicolour little horses bringing joy to my work-a-day stress filled life.. So  really who am I to complain. I try not to spoil myself a much as I can (more to look forward too).  Heh I think I watched about 3 seconds of a sample clip the hub put out for Simple Ways (Raarity <3)  and promptly turned it off!!  Heh it was totally worth it!! :D   But yeah, that Magical Mystery Cure, rather high up on my episode favourites..   Also with the Beatles song pun :P hehe

I guess the problem with rushed eps is that the creator's hands are tied, and they can't do a double episode for each of the great sotries. I find some of them too crowded too. But yeah ponies are the best :3
