It seems I was able to finish it before the episode. The reason I wanted to finish it is I'm sure obvious. This is how I felt at first when it became sure Twilight becomes an allicorn. I hope you like it.
Edit: Oh my I can't believe I forgot it. I used this set of brush for the rain:

The way you drew the light source is amazing and the details are stunning. The rain dripping of her hair looks amazing and her face expression displays such anguish >':
exactly my thoughts when she transformed. You obviously have a good sense of where the lighting should go and where the shadows should be placed giving this piece much emotion.
The plummeting rain bouncing off on her body gives the sense of the pouring rain which matches perfectly with the emotions of this art. Now, I understand that you were trying to make the wings the mlp style, however, this ends up not matching along with the rest of the picture due to the fact that the hair is semi realism and the whole picture is coloured in a realistic manner, but the wings lack detail compared to the style of your picture. Overall, I adore this wonderful piece of art.
Awesommmeeeee!!!!
The way the rain bounces off of Twilight looks unique, as so the way her crown and fur glow in the light.
The tears shimmer nicely, and the strands of her mane are so perfectly put together to make the wet, realistic, feature.
Your shading gives it a wonderful sense of depth, like a sad aura surrounding it, and the dark colors used make that sense of depth better.
Twilight's wings are nicely tucked in, as if she never wanted them, and her expression makes it priceless.
Overall, the rain is just right, as it seems to blend in with Twi's sad look and the way it has the mane down such as it would with Pinkie Pie/Pinkamena. And with the beautiful crown of a princess sitting upon a regular mare's head, it ties it together because it gives a sense of unneeded pride and happiness of becoming an alicorn.
This made me shed some liquid pride.
