Is anyone else tempted to just gently pull her out of the cookie jar and then just hold her while you tell her that it's all right? Or is it just me?

As far as it comes as a piece of art, I don't think anyone could possibly deny the fact that this has it all— from vision to impact, it's got all of that and much more. The vision is plain and simple, sitting directly in front of us all; it also helps to lead to originality, technique, and impact.

In regards to colours, shades, hues, tints, lights, values, motions, time, and everything else, it is represented magnificently; you can clearly see the shadows cast on the pot, Fluttershy, and the ground from the sun. As for the clear bubbles, I will address that later on in this critique. With the use of lights, values, shades, hues, and tints, we can see that this cookie jar has had many years of good service; there are small cracks here and there, and the label is even worn out somewhat from much use and love.

In regards to the main focus of the picture, young Fluttershy is in tears and ashamed for eating up all the delicious cookies; <img class="avatar" src="a.deviantart.net/avatars/n/e/n…" alt=":iconneko-me:" title="Neko-me" /> did a splendid job with her shy, hesitantly afraid appearance as she is in the jar to avoid punishment. Then again, who would even be able to consider punishing this adorable little filly for being so honest and truthful for finishing the goodies? Regardless, you can see the tears welled up in her eyes as she is sincere and wholehearted in her apology. This applies well to the use of <img class="avatar" src="a.deviantart.net/avatars/n/e/n…" alt=":iconneko-me:" title="Neko-me" />'s art technique; whatever it may be, we can see much time and labour went into making this stunningly emotional piece of art.

The impact is just the emotional state we get from seeing Fluttershy so upset and nearing the point of crying for eating all the cookies and not leaving you any; this would help to explain the clear bubbles all about the masterpiece. From Fluttershy's point of view, with tears in her eyes, she just sees you slightly blurry and in your current temperament, whatever it may be; it also adds to the emotional appeal. Also, I would like to call you all to the center point of her eyes, where there is one shape that prominently sticks out to me from all that white light in her eyes. Closest to the center of her pupils, which is where a great deal of light is concentrated, there appears to be a heart in each pupil; I caught sight of that studying her eyes very closely, and I have never seen such a creative spark before with Fluttershy. It does add to her sad, ashamed, and apologetic state of being, and it does impact the audience who views it.

I've seen several pieces of artwork depicting a pony of the mane six in a cookie jar, but never have I seen one of a pony who would be so ashamed, so guilty about eating the scrumptious cookies that she's about to cry while apologizing! I, personally, believe there is only one thing to do here— Pick her up, tell her that you can always make some more, and just cuddle her until she calms herself(or until she falls asleep; then cuddling is just inevitable for such a cute pony).

I do not think I could give this any less than five stars through all four categories of vision, originality, technique, and impact; it's a beautiful masterpiece of art, and is very much a wonderful emotion to feel seeing her and then contemplating what you would do if this ever happened to you in real life. I am proud to say I recommend watching this amazing deviant, and enjoying all their marvelous artwork. I cannot wait to see your next piece of love, labour, and creativity.
