'Won't let this happen to the Crystal Ponies' by Neko-me 'Won't let this happen to the Crystal Ponies' by Neko-me
In the latest episode for me the most touching scene was Dashie's disappointment. Though it wasn't exposed that much I know this feeling very well :(. And she did not let down the ponies in the Crystal Kingdom. She is the best! :D

Thanx for the favs and the comments!

The origins of a character provides a more detailed approach towards her persona and Dashie is no exception to that rule. The similar style used in both forms also suggest a deeper fact, Dashie might be a tough mare, but her innocent heart still keeps those bitter memories as a timeless event in her life, forgetting them could trigger the same bitter nightmares all over again in the present day. The longer I stare at this drawing, the harder it becomes to remain happy, not only did you manage to gather both light and darkness, but also provide a double edged fact linked towards our minds, forgetting our mistakes might doom us all to make them all over again as if it was the first time. It was good to see Dashie achieve something she was denied on behalf of the crystal ponies. Excellent drawing with deep thoughts used on its making, well applied skills, Dashie would be proud of your awesome work my friend.

"That was what disappointment felt like.  That was what defeat felt like.  That was what failure felt like.  That day, I made myself a promise that I would never, ever let myself feel that again.  So I started practicing hard, pushing myself to my limits and beyond.  Whenever I doubted myself, I looked at that flag on the wall, and remembered that day, and said to myself, "Never again."

Hey, Rainbow Dash here... yeah, pretty much. If you were in my horseshoes, though...
I doubt you'd want to have it happen again.
(I'd better get off her computer, I think Twi's coming)
