'... then I screamed, but no answer' by Neko-me '... then I screamed, but no answer' by Neko-me
I've been thinking of uploading this one or not for weeks. Now I decided, why not. This is a completely experimental picture and the reason I don't apply a mature content filter is that there is no excessive violance and gore in the pic. Of course i'm open to suggestions so please before you try to report it, tell me why should I put a filter on.

About what is on the picture ... it is up to you, but a hint: this is a scene that appears in a fanfic ... and this is a nightmare, Scootaloo's worse.

Thanx for the favs and comments!

Do not use it without my written permission!

The artwork is very suiting for the subject matter. A good use of lighting, as though there was a sacrifice made, leaving Scootaloo in the darkness.

The pain in Scootaloo's eyes is driven home by not only the site she has seen, but also the direct impact on her, with the victims blood flying into her face.

Every element in the piece works towards the final message: Scootaloo just saw someone she loves die.

The piece may have had a greater impact if there was some more context, such as an extract from the fanfic this was based on, or a final quote from the victim. However, it isn't enough to detract from the overall message.

A well thought out piece of work, well deserving of attention and admiration.

What an uncomfortable, yet awesome piece. If I understand this correctly, it was based on a fanfiction. With that said, the only gripe I really have is that there's no quote from that fanfiction anywhere in sight. Combined with just the right quote, this would have been much heavier. Well, that and the mouth looks a tad weird, but that's just nitpicking, really. All and all, this is another fantastic piece from you. I've come to expect those by now, so I'm not too surprised. I will say that, even with the absence of context, this picture is definitely heavy and memorable, which is a definite plus.

The blood spatter on the face is a very nice touch, though the one on the nose looks a little off to me, might just be how I am looking at it. the shadow of the tears on the neck seems well done to me and good attention to detail.

I'm curious what fic inspired this.  Any chance of a link added to the description?  If anything to stop people from asking for it.  :3
