Hi everyone!

First I want to just tell you that I'm really glad you helped me out. The commissions I've finished so far helped me a lot. Thank you so much.

However, I have some bad news, well it's mostly bad news to me but anyway. In the last few months, after I stopped a steroid treatement for my chronic illness (IBD), a progressive joint paint started to come back. This pain is the result of the steroid medication. Without going into the boring details, as of now I'm in constant pain in my shoulders, back, neck, knees and my wrists. It scares me a lot, because drawing is getting more and more difficult to me. And the best thing is, I'm not allowed to take painkillers, because it messes up my IBD. I'm managing the pain with ointments and rest, but I'm starting to get depressed (not being able to properly concentrate is one reason).  I have an appointment with a specialist, but it's still 3 weeks.
What I'm trying to blabber here is that drawing will be much slower now in general (unless I have a better period). I'm still working on commissions, but at a slower rate. I'm sorry about this, I'll try my best.

I just saw this journal— I didn't realize this is what was holding you up, I thought it was just commission overload. I'm glad I didn't say anything and just waited for your e-mail!
I've been on a mild (5mg daily) steroid treatment for post-heart transplant immunosuppression for almost two decades now. They've boosted me every now and then for various medical reasons (mostly chemotherapy for post-transplant cancer treatments) over the last few years, and going back down to that low base level is rough, so I feel you. Coupling that with IBD must be horrible. I'm so sorry you have to go through that.
It's been almost two weeks now, so I hope you're feeling better! Take your time with the commissions— we can wait. Your health comes first.
