Technique ImpactRarity has to be my favorite pony! I'm glad someone can express love for her through art! And I think you did a very good job! All rarity-loving-bias aside.
While the body and the hair were beautifully shaped, I couldn't help but notice an abnormality in the nose crook. It seems as though it's a tad to small. But this could be an optical illusion caused by the shape of the eye, which seems to be more... Twilight Sparkle than Rarity.
What would help, is if you made the Northern point of the eye more... pointy? That way, it'd look more like the Rarity I love.
But you did a great job. The image incurs a feeling of despair, and sadness. A couple of things that I love about Rarity. It takes away the things I hate about her, too. Like her drama and exaggeration. It reminds me of episode nine. One of my favorites!
